How does Lipodissolve work?
Lipodissolve consists of 2 FDA-approved medications that are also a natural part of our body chemistry. PC, or phosphatidylcholine, is similar to lecithin, found in our cell membranes, and extracted from soybeans for medical use. It has been proven to reduce cholesterol and triglycerides, and improve insulin resistance. DC, or deoxycholate, is a bile salt that we use to digest dietary fats. Small amounts of Lidocaine, a very common pain medication, helps to keep the PCDC contained in the areas being treated.

Lipodissolve is a process of destroying fat cells in targeted fatty parts of the body through the injection of special medications directly into the fat. The result is less fat, less inches, and smooth skin in these areas. The medications cause the fat cells to rupture and the fat to be naturally metabolized by the body over a 4 week time period. (Much like a bruise would be metabolized).

Together, injected into fat, these medications result in the rupture and destruction of the fat cells. This causes an inflammatory reaction that metabolizes and eliminates the fat, primarily through the lymphatic system and liver, over about 4 weeks.

The destroyed fat cells and their contents are then eliminated from the body. The result is less fat, less inches, and often smoother skin, particularly in areas of lumpy cellulite.
